Non-Profit to support Troops in Iraq needing to put together digital advertisement in movie theater to advertise upcoming fundraising. I don't know anything about how to build a digital ad, nor can I find a company that can put one together for me.

Post an ad on Craigslist or at a college or university that teaches media design--a college student needs the experience, and you won't have to pay as much as you would if you were hiring a freelancer. You could present it as a contest, and the winner gets their work seen.

I would say you have one of two options 1) try to do it yourself. You can pick up a magazine at a local Borders or what not that has a tutorial for an ad with free trial software. You can usually get all this in a copy of Computer Arts Magazine. they run about $15 dollars. There tutorials are top notch, and they give you files and the program (demo of course). 2) the mose expensive but more professional route would be to find a freelancer who does this and hammer out a deal. Freelancers are great for this because they deal with one time jobs all the time. Try design sites for freelancers, and see if you can post your job. See what bites. I don't do video however sorry.
