Movies that are already out would you go see them again in a better theater?

If there was a "theater" as in a movie theater with just all the movies that are already out ,with better sound and better picture.

Would you go

Movies that are already out would you go see them again in a better theater?home theatre

Definitely! Also the Drive In , With the new technology it would be great

Maybe..Depends on if the rate would be higher...
No, I wouldnt. I guess it all comes down to if you have the money to spare. The price of movies seems to go up to go up all the time now days. Dont break you wallet seeing the same movie twice.
Probably not. I don't want to spend more money and use time to see a movie again, thinking that a better sound system or picture quality will make the movie better.

If the story, acting and directing is good, sometimes, that's all that matters.

Unfortunately, many movie studios are counting on special

FX, huge screens and thunderous speakers to make the movie bring in the (our) bucks.
Yes.

Example, I would go see The Departed again
yes, totally better experiance
yah i would go, that would be a really awesome thing for kids to do.
I wait until they come to the dollar theater. It's a much nicer facility than the $7 theaters and generally worth the 2-month wait.
I live in Riverside CA and we have numerous theaters with great sound and picture - but most have a bunch of commercials prior to the coming attractions. I just wait outside until the commercials are over. We have an IMAX 20 miles away and virtually all our theaters are overstuffed, rocking or stable, chairs with plenty of leg room. This probably disqualifies me for this question because we have so much to choose from.

As for going to see movies again, I do when I am really rivited or a performance is overwhelming or if it is a top flight musical. I saw "Chicago" three times in the theater and then bought the DVD and routinely watch the musical numbers over and over. Same with "Dreamgirls." Seen it twice and will a third time then buy the DVD. Really great comedies are rare. In years past I would see really good films a second time in the theater. Saw "Victor/Victoria" three times and then bought the Laser Disc when it came out. Also the DVD when it became available. (Can't stop laughing when I think of it. Fresh every time - Just great writing and the cast is stellar and the direction is perfection. Not a boring moment, not a false move. Would love to see it on the big screen again.

Large to medium cities do not have any "theater" problems because the sound and picture are state of the art.

Finally, no one would go see "all the movies" a second time simply because so many are so bad or routine or not clever. Very few would see any film a second time in theaters because they know the DVD will be out shortly. Also, most people do not care if the film on DVD is letterboxed or chopped off at the ends so they get a "full screen" picture. Few know the difference. Those with home theaters will care and will screen a film in a way that it approaches the movie theater but, with a comedy, it must be seen with an audience to share in the laughter. Hope you agree with these statements.
no
not often.
No, not at the price they charge for a ticket. If they were free, I might.
If I enjoyed the movie sure, why not ... ... ..
Nope too expensive
depends on how good the movie was
For a great movie of course...
